- Teen films feature subject matter relevant to teens. The are often set in colleges and are about boyfriends /girlfriends, relationships with parents, identity, fitting in.
Who watches teen films?
- people in their teens/early 20s
- younger kids who want to be teenagers
- older people - it's what they grew up with. It's nostalgic.
Why do we enjoy watching teen films?
- they often have comedic value
- we can relate to it, we are going through it
what we found out in our investigation of teen movies?
- we found out that the younger generation focused more on the characters and setting where as the older generation were more focused on the genre of the movie
