  • the storyline appeals to all teenagers as it identifies the stereotypical groups we find in many schools for example "the geeks" and " the popular kids ".
  • in the movie ,  mean girls , the main focus is on "the girls " and therefore the main target audience is young girls however it can be argued that boys may also be a fan of the movie due to the comedy.

freedom writers :

  • it is based on a book called "the freedom writers diary" by teacher Erin Gruwell.
  • the title is on a play of the term "freedom riders", referring the multiracial civil rights activist who tested the U.S.Supreme court decision ordering the desegregation of interstate buses in 1961.

  • the movie stars Hilary swank , Patrick Dempsey  and many others
  • Genre : motivation/ aspiration type movie
  • this movie appeals to both females and males. this is because the movie is mostly based on overcoming racial issues and segregation. this movie appeals to not just teenagers but young adults from the ages of 20-30 years of age.
  • movie locations : mainly in a classroom , school , cafeteria , deprived areas , and a restaurant
