what happens at a start of a film ?

1. Introduction of the key characters - usually there is a small clip showing the main character in the opening scene.

2. The setting and location is then established.

3. Title sequence - which is a cinematic films and television programs present their title , key production and casts members, utilising conceptual visuals and sounds.

4. Then the production company identity and distribution company is shown.

5. music/sound - which begins immediately in the film. This establishes the mood but can also give us a hint of the genre for the film for example star wars.
