researching music and sound for film openings

In this lesson we learnt how to use free music pieces to show how we could produce a short clip without violating any copyright law. this was a very important task for us because it was important to understand the reason behind copyright laws. if we had used a music track that had copyright protection , we would have been breaking the law.

however in this task we used a website called "creative commons" which allowed us to use a variety of free music. it also helped us in being creative with sound. for example we had to find a sound for an 'elevator door' opening and closing.
