Teen films

Teen films are is a genre of film that are directed at teenagers and have plot lines based upon the average teenager. They are often very stereotypical and problems are shown through comedy as such films are usually lighthearted. They tend to be set in schools.

Who watches teen films and why?

• Adults - It works as a form of a nostalgia to remind them of a stress free time
