Stereotypes:

• Claire Standish (Molly Ringwald) is the princess, the Prom Queen, Miss Popularity. Has a rich taste in fashion and also has a high status in high school. Exposed as not smart and snobby rich girl with make up and curly hair, has a slim fit physique and arrives at high school in her rich dads new BMW.  
• Brian Johnson (Anthony Michael Hall) is the brain, the geek, the "neo-maxie zoom deebie." (Nerd), loves science, gets exposed by the bullies which are the jocks and the football team, is not popular and has a low status, has a skinny fit physique making him more vulnerable. 
• Andrew Clark (Emilio Estevez) is the athlete, the jock, the head captain of the football team, regarded as the most popular kid in high school, has a high status and a slim built sporty muscular physique which makes him an athlete. Wears a lot of sporty clothes and baseball jackets, arrives at high school in his dads working class SUV.   
• John Bender (Judd Nelson) is the criminal, the rebel, the punk, not very popular, has a slim tall physique with long hair, bullies the geeks and simply walks to school and seems very serious and dangerous. 
• Allison Reynolds (Ally Sheedy) is the basket case, the loner, the weirdo, is not popular, has a low status and is a very quiet and dark person, misunderstood most of the time and wants to hide from people so therefore is not very sociable, is neglected by her parents and people in high school, comes with a normal car with parents to high school and is an outcast majority of the time.
